Few days back, this was a topic of debate in the family while having lunch.
The South Indian meal flow is inclusion of curd by the end of every meal to ease the digestion process.
But there's a speculation that on eating Fish and curd together, one might get Leucoderma (white patches in skin).
But we often are tempted to have curd after the fish, after every meal in fact.
So what should we do?
Here are some points:
There is no specific evidence which relates Fish consumption and Leucoderma. (Good newsss!!!!)
According to Ayurveda, mixing up of nature of food is not allowed. Here Fish is rich in protein and a non-vegetarian food. But curd is vegetarian and rich in protein too. So mixing up these might result in some sort of discomfort but not much adverse effects.
If you're lactose intolerant, don't consume these two together.
So as far as I know, there is no problem in eating these together but if you're allergic just listen to your body and stop the combination.
