There's this thing which connects EACH and EVERY corner of India. No not the one which we are being told in the popular cellular communication provider Ad.

It is a real-time service and NOT a technology.

Yes, it is @indiapost_dop.

Do you know Indiapost is the World's largest postal service provider?

I had this package for @thetoddlerstore.in which has to be delivered to an interior part of Karnataka.

I usually send my packages via private courier services. But to this particular area, there was no service provided by those private services. So I had to go check with Indiapost.

For my surprise, they have service there.

I then read up a little on Indiapost and came to know it is a greatest asset of country and they connect every corner of India.

The history of India Post goes way back to 8th century AD and the East India Company took many constructive steps to improvise the existing postal service in India.

India Post was the only way of communication for many years in India, in which all kinds of legitimate, personal and professional communications were made.

Now because of the lesser usage of India Post, the centre is planning to remove many deposit post boxes across the country.

Try to remember that few years back, there was probably a post box in your area, now it might have been removed. That's very sad right?

When you receive a hand written letter from any of loved ones and you were not informed on the arrival of the letter, the excitement of reading that is real right??

We usually do underestimate the Government services, but in this case there is absolutely no reason for us to ignore such a great service.

Also, when we send packages with @indiapost_dop the charges are way less than the private courier agencies charges. So it is very economical too.

From here on, I am going to send my packages only via India Post.

We can send an uninformed letter to any of our loved ones, but do we have the address of all of them?? Noooo. Thats a problem then.

Can we exchange our addresses without asking for reasons nowadays?
